Not a pleasant stay at all. Mattresses were very uncomfortable. No depth to the mattress, very hard and we could feel every inner coil.
AC/heater made sudden scraping sounds loud enough to wake us up.
We were given a first floor “handicapped “ room as I have difficulty with stairs and there’s no elevator. The bathroom is large but has an old tub so if I was handicapped I would have had difficulty using it as the slide-board bench needed to get into the tub has to be pulled down into position from the opposite side of the tub. Once in the tub the control for the shower and the tub was found to be broken. The single control handle for the water just spun around freely in circles. My husband finally figured out how to get the water on. I couldn’t have done it alone and the office was closed so there was no one to assist or report to.
The bathroom has no counter space and no surface to place anything including the toilet as the toilet has no lid.
There were two cloth covered chairs in the room. One dirtied than the other.
The mini fridge was off and unplugged when we arrived. We plugged it in and turned it on but it never got cold enough to use.
This was our forth night on the road and we’d stayed at a LaQuinta the night before for less money, had a very comfortable bed, very nice shower, cold mini fridge, clean furniture, and a full breakfast in the morning. It’s hard to not compare.
