Dear Management, I had a nice time staying at the Costa del Sol Trujillo Centro Hotel. This was my second extended stay at your hotel. All staff were very attentive to my family and me. In particular, I thank Alex Ruiz for his professional attitude at Papikra Restaurant. The only thing I want to bring to your attention concerns your two-hour visitors' stay... keep in mind that I am sure most travelers como to Trujillo as tourist, and as in my case, to visit with my family. I had a nine-hour flight to get to Trujillo to see my family. With your new two-hour visiting policy, personally, I don't think it's woth staying at your hotel. I will, however, recommend your hotel to whoever is just doing tourism. Thank you, Cordially, Flor Dieguez.

I have too many issues to report. Definitely, this is not a 4 star hotel. The main issue was discrimination. The lack of empathy and understanding from the front desk staff, that is not properly trained. When I presented my US passport, they asked me proof of my address in US. I told them that I can provide my home’s tax for 2025 (I keep my notices online). I had to call the manager because I wanted reimbursement to move to another hotel. They refused to do it. Other issues: no soap on the guest’s bathroom, one of the lifts did not work for three days, old carpets, dirty doors. When I told them about the hotel’s transportation, they told me it was not included for passengers with reservations abroad (for my return, on my insistence, they gave me the free transportation to the airport). They also gave me a different room that the one I paid. All in all, that was the most unpleasant stay of my more than 50 years traveling around the world. I’m not the only disappointed and dissatisfied customer. All my friends that traveled to attend an important city event, were very dissatisfied, almost for the same reasons that does not grant a four star to this hotel. ‘

Muy rico exceptional breakfast, with hot meats, eggs, crepes; fresh fruits, juices, and yogurts; pastries! Great location and could walk everywhere. Right next door to the beautiful Cathedral. We had the junior suite, which was very nice with patio overlooking Plaza de Armas. I would definitely stay there again, but would ask for a room overlooking pool/ center of building, away from plaza. There was alot of street noise including sirens and loud vehicles most of night ( even with windows closed) and also noise from the hotel bar immediately below the room.

Friendly staff and a lovely building but it's a noisy place....music blaring from both inside and outside the property. Main niggle was there was no complimentary water in the room.
