Head up to level 3 for the boutique theatre space. For anyone who loves films, this is a real treat – the best of home and cinema combined, with comfy sofas, a large screen and a private bar where you can order drinks or their house speciality, herbed popcorn. It hosts monthly thematic movie screenings, and is a great spot to bring the kids, with children's movies shown every Saturday from 5pm.

Grown-ups can head down to Catchfly, a sharp-looking and sexy cocktail bar at the basement of 12 Ann Siang Road. The plush seats and an industrial themed interior are matched with refreshing cocktail selections – check out inventive mixes such as The Honey Badger, Choke and Smoke, and Self(ie) Adored.

Up on the roof, Rooftop at Screening Room is an open-air terrace where you can enjoy the sunset with an extensive range of beverages paired with contemporary Asian bar bites. 

This casual rooftop bar with wooden decking and Mediterranean vibes is not particularly high but offers great views of Chinatown and Singapore’s business district. The bar area is quite small and can get busy – it’s best to book ahead for the cosy couches.
