Surfeel Hotel Wakkanai
10/10 Excellent
"Close to ferry. Airport shuttle stopped right at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Somehow all restaurants in town were full (or by reservation only) on our arrival day, appreciated the dinner options offered at the hotel."
Dormy Inn Wakkanai Natural Hot Spring
8/10 Good
"Excellent location, great amenities, especially the onsen baths. Friendly staff and good service. The only downside: the room had a stale smell. Overall would book again."
Pension Fujimon
8/10 Good
"Tidy and clean Japanese Pensioner. Tatami mats and futons were paired with good bedding. Our room had a sink and toilet but we used a communal shower that was clean and well stocked. From the description of the room, it was unclear if there was a shower but it was no problem."
Pension ARUMERIA
10/10 Excellent
"I traveled from Las Vegas to Tokyo for a wedding. Then I flew up to Hokkaido and finally to Wakkanai. When I arrived at the hotel the attendant called someone to give me a ride to the konbini to gather supplies. She also scheduled a taxi for me the next morning. We exchanged gifts and I told her I’d be back with loved ones. If you are an adventurer this is a great place to put on your list. I only wish I could’ve tried the food in the restaurant."
