Thainstone House
10/10 Excellent
"Charming and unique historic hotel. Its an older hotel that’s beautifully furnished. Lots of windows, comfy chairs, a nice bar and dining room. It’s right off a main road and close to the Airport, so it’s very accessible."
Ardoe House Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely stay in a beautiful historic house Ardoe House is a grand and impressive building, with beautiful panelled walls and plenty of character. The staff were excellent throughout our stay—friendly, welcoming and attentive. Our Classic Room was spacious and comfortable, with an excellent shower in the bathroom. There were also plenty of plug sockets in convenient locations around the bedroom, which was a nice practical touch. The dining room is very well presented and provides a lovely setting for dinner. The lamb main course was absolutely stunning and definitely the highlight of the meal. We did, however, feel that the starters and desserts were somewhat overpriced for what was served. Outside, the grounds are mainly laid to lawn with mature trees, providing a pleasant setting around the house. The location is also very convenient, being only around 15 minutes from Aberdeen city centre while still offering the feel of a country house retreat. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful historic property, with great staff, comfortable rooms and an excellent main course. A solid 4-star experience as advertised."
Moxy Aberdeen Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Super convenient. Great to have bar and food available, as well as extensive canteen-for-purchase options. Room clean and quiet and comfortable."
The Commercial Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very comfortable, clean and quiet, those are the most important factors for me."
Loch Kinord Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was spacious and well planned. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very spacious, would have preferred separate shower rather than over bath, but this was a minor issue. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our two nights stay."
Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Aberdeen Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Really helpful staff giving advice on bike storage, amenities in the mountain biking area we were visiting and also advice on allergies for breakfast. Quiet, large room. Will be back!"
Village Hotel Aberdeen
8/10 Good
"The check-in process was disappointing because I had to ask about nearly everything. The listing stated that a parking tag would be provided if parking was included, but none was given. When I asked, I was told that parking required an additional fee, which was then added to our room. The pool also costs extra, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. We went to use the hot tub but were told we couldn’t use it because the bubbles weren’t running. The staff member who told us was not friendly or helpful. My husband and son then attempted to swim, but two lanes were reserved for lap swimming and the remaining area was being used for swim lessons. My mother-in-law, who was fully dressed and not swimming, was even told she couldn’t use her phone to take a picture. The pool hours are also very limited, especially for families. If you are checking in and want your children to swim, you’ll need to go almost immediately. Needless to say, we left after about five minutes and felt like we had completely wasted our money."
The Boat Inn
10/10 Excellent
"No negative comments at all. All the staff were fantastic and had obviously been well trained."
Cambus o'May Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed in the Kennel room at this beautiful old hunting lodge. Attentive staff. Enjoyed an excellent dinner and walked the grounds. Funky charm in the very best sense. Wished to stay longer!"
