Halifax and related destinations

Wander the historic waterfront where tall ships bob beside seafood restaurants serving chowder that could convert non-believers. The star-shaped Citadel offers city views worth every step of the climb, plus soldiers in period uniforms who never break character. Art Gallery of Nova Scotia showcases maritime creativity while Neptune Theatre stages productions that punch above their weight. Maritime Museum of the Atlantic tells tales of Titanic connections with artifacts that survived when passengers didn't. The harbor buzzes with water taxis and harbor cruises, but locals recommend simply sitting dockside with a Keith's beer watching buskers perform against the Atlantic backdrop. Grand Parade square hosts events where you'll quickly discover why Haligonians are famously friendly.

"Abbie at the front desk was fantastic from our arrival to our check out! Very friendly and accommodating! Our room was perfect, very comfortable bed, nice shower and had the amenities we needed for our 2 night stay. Although parking is off site, it wasn’t as painful as we thought it would be. Walkable to the beautiful harbour front and dozens and dozens of restaurants! That being said - our room service both morning from the hotel restaurant (The Eatery) was fantastic!"
