"Check in set the tone. This guy - southerner - pins up/down each lapel was simply mean. We had a full week of hotels jumping every night and twice people said "you are our favourite check-in today', as we are kind, funny, and take time to respect our check-in person. This guy was the worst and set the tone. He said "if you want to hear the exact same thing from my manager, I can get him and he'll repeat these same words". We didn't even know why he was saying that, or why being cruel at check-in would accomplish anything. So, we go to our rooms feeling defeated before we start."

"I woke up several times during the night because of the highway noise. The staff also did not explain any of the hotel facilities or amenities during check-in, which is something most other hotels usually do. In particular, one male staff member at the front desk was extremely unfriendly. I visit Boston often and have stayed at many different hotels here, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I will never stay here again."

"For an Omni hotel, I was surprised how outdated my room was. The bathroom really needed to be renovated. It was nothing special, but very convenient for meetings at the RI Convention Center. The Convention Center was nice. Also, Fleming’s at the Omni and the coffee shop on the 2nd floor were good."

"The staff at the Sheridan Hotel in Boston was very accommodating and helpful, especially when we arrived and needed to switch rooms to better accommodate our family. We ultimately upgraded to one of the hotel’s top suites, which understandably came at an additional cost. The suite itself was beautiful, located on the top floor with an amazing view, and included a separate dining area, sitting room, and bedroom, which made for a very enjoyable stay overall. One thing we did not realize at the time of the upgrade was that the suite was an ADA-compliant room. It’s great that the hotel offers these accessible accommodations, but for our personal preference, we would have preferred a standard room setup with either a traditional tub or walk-in shower. The room also had a much lower bed that was quite firm and uncomfortable for us. Overall, the staff was excellent and the suite and views were impressive, but I would recommend confirming the room configuration in advance when upgrading."

"The hotel was very clean the person at the front desk was helpful. Free breakfast was good. Not the hotel's fault - the room we were assigned to reeked of pot. When we mentioned it to the front desk, we were moved right away. There was plenty of free parking."
