"Clean and quiet."

"We booked a two queen room, they said we booked a king. They said the problem was we booked thru third party and their descriptions are different. I had my reservation proof, they didn’t care. A call to a manager at home gave them permission to give us the correct room but we had to pay more. When we got to our room we were already worried because the hallway carpet was extremely dirty. The room was the same. The blinds were broken so anyone outside could see in. There was another door that exited to the back that seemed unsafe. The heating/air conditioner control was broken off the wall, and several lamp shades were torn. Dirty food stains on the tv stand. We did not stay. Thankfully our third party reimbursed us 100%."

"Frequent traveler here. This is not a 4-star hotel. During my stay, housekeeping took my newly purchased mascara ($40+) and one of my organic face towels. I spoke with several people, but no one followed up and no compensation was offered. Disappointing experience."

"We had a really good experience. James, the manager, was very accommodating, friendly, and personable. He gave us a tour of the hotel as soon as we arrived, with some hints about what to do in the area. The entire hotel is very clean, including the rooms with cool decor. There are lobbies or lounge areas on each floor to sit, talk, and play the provided games. We definitely recommend this place and would stay there again ourselves. Very convenient location also, walking distance to everything. There is free parking behind the hotel."

"This is a beautiful place in a great town. Greenport has much to recommend it. Excellent restaurants, interesting shopping, and congenial places to hang around, have a drink, a pastry or coffee. The seafood, from shellfish to the top of the maritime food chain is fresh and abundant, and generally reasonably priced. The hotel provides a generous and varied continental breakfast buffet for its guests, and the staff is serious about hospitality with a smile. We very frankly now think of of the Harbor Front Inn as "our place in Greenport." "

"I have never been in such a horrible filthy unprofessional hotel. Everything was horrible filthy and totally unacceptable Could not check in on time Personnel at front desk were rude, chatted with each other ignoring the guests waiting in line. They also had signs in plain view of patrons that should not have been displayed. They had conversations with cleaning staff that were also inappropriate for patrons to hear. Rooms were filthy: Floors were sticky Furniture dirty Bedding smelled Bathroom not cleaned well Cooling system smelled nasty when it was on Microwave, refrigerator and coffee units were not clean Free complimentary breakfast was disgusting. I took pictures in case somebody wanted to see what the room looked disgusting I am requesting a full refund for this stay!"
