Hotel Santa Barbara
"Pleasantly surprised with the beauty of this property. The lobby smelled amazing and the vibes were great, service during check in was excellent. The room was lovely with plenty of lamps to help with the dark paint which is a beautiful gray/green color. I was very disappointed with the shower, it was a tub with a small glass that served as a door (I think) not sure who designed this but it is the worst idea ever as most of the water still ends up outside of the shower area. Honestly this was the biggest disappointment but the good outweigh the bad by far. I definitely plan to stay here again, it's location is unbeatable and the hotel is just beautiful. For my next stay I will definitely ask for a bathroom with a shower only not the tub as I saw many pictures of rooms with just the stand up shower not the tub. 100% recommend"
Good Nite Inn Camarillo
"Very comfortable stay and good location for Channel Islands ferry."
Palm Garden Hotel
"Overall I had a pretty good stay. The rooms are remodeled, the beds were comfortable, and I always saw staff around cleaning and maintaining the property. You can tell they are actively taking care of the place. I also liked the breakfast voucher for the restaurant across the street. Parking was $10 a day, which wasn’t too bad. I do wish the TV and entertainment options were better. The biggest issue was the ants. After waking up from the first night I noticed several ants around the nightstand and unfortunately some in the bed. I told the staff and they were amazing about it. They took the issue seriously, apologized, and moved me to another room without any problems. I did end up seeing one or two ants crawling across the bed in the second room too around my last night. Since I only had a short time left in my stay, I decided not to move again. I definitely think the pest issue needs to be looked into since it happened in two different rooms. Other than that, the staff was great and I can see the effort being put into maintaining and improving the property. I wouldn’t let the ant issue completely overshadow the rest of my stay, but it is something that needs attention."

"We stayed in a room with three queen beds which was unusual but great for my wife and I and two adult children. Room was clean and walkable to bars and restaurants."
