"The hotel itself was great! The neighborhood not so much. The room was clean and modernized a great overnight rest stop! Good value for money."

"You can tell that this hotel was once a grand establishment in its prime. The room featured a beautiful four-poster bed and a wardrobe that housed a TV. However, the bathroom was quite small, and the overall decor felt dated, though still charming. If you are looking for a high-end, luxurious hotel, this isn't the place for you. But if you seek a quaint, comfortable spot with an exquisite view of the water and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, then you have found the right place! The view from our room was truly beautiful!"

"Great stay at the Bangor inn and suites. It was my 4th time. Super location. Only con: wifi was terrible. Very hard to keep a connection. If you have to work from a laptop during your visit, this would not be a great place to stay."

"We drove back to NH from Nova Scotia and used this as a mid-way location. Location was perfect, the hotel is lovely, the indoor spa was wonderful, the outdoor pool sparkled, the room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious. A much needed relaxing stop from our long drive, the staff were great, everything about it was wonderful."

"Air conditioning and staff were good, there is a little breakfast spot at the front desk to grab a fresh piece of fruit and a coffee. Not a fancy spot but beds are clean and it’s a place to lay your head and do so affordably."
