Andy's Trout Farm
Learn more about Dillard
Tucked into the North Georgia mountains, this tiny town punches above its weight with antique shops and art galleries lining its historic streets. Tackle the dramatic depths of Tallulah Gorge, where suspension bridges dangle over rushing waters. Cast a line at Andy's Trout Farm, where even novice anglers leave with dinner. The surrounding Chattahoochee National Forest offers hiking trails through woodland and mountain vistas. Black Rock Mountain State Park rewards modest effort with views across four states. Winter brings snowtubing at Scaly Mountain, while summer means whitewater adventures on the Chattooga River. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at Rabun County Golf Club before browsing downtown shops that maintain their authenticity despite decades of tourism.

Fairway Forest by Coolvacay
"This was our second stay in a one bedroom in Falrway Forest. It is perfectly situated for quiet in the mountains but also close to restaurants and shopping and many other activities offered through the amenity card. Only downside for older folks is the multiple levels and stairs to access living level, kitchen and bedroom. Will stay here again when we travel to Sapphire"
Dillard House
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Dillard house! The newly renovated room was perfect! It was clean, spacious and the private patio with rocking chairs was a treat! The restaurant was delicious and service excellent! They had live music, horseback riding, and the cutest gift shop on site! I was visiting the Highlands so Dillard house was super convenient! The quick drive to Highlands was scenic and I enjoyed stopping at the vineyard at Holly Hill on Scaly mountain on the way! Dillard house is adding a spa, wine bar, distillery, etc. and I look forward to returning soon! A must stay for couples, friend trips and families!"

"Three of us (grandpa, my son, myself) shared the apartment room above the lobby & shared breakfast/lounge area for 3 nights for a fishing trip. Very comfortable, tons of space, staff is absolutely tremendous. We cooked for ourselves more than most guests might, so we appreciated the full size fridge, ample cutlery, etc. A few housekeeping items could have been better: missing bulbs in the kitchen area including the light right over the range, not enough pods for the dishwasher, non-functional ice maker in the fridge, etc. But having after-hours access to the lobby area for ice, coffee, bathroom, etc was great and made up for some of the kitchen issues. I really want to give 4.5 stars, and we will make this top of our list when we return for another guys fishing outing."
