Everything was clean, the rooms are relatively large with a desk, security box, and fit two twin beds comfortably. The bed was about medium firmness and not springy. All the hotel staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast was pretty standard, but well executed. "Our room faced away from the main street and was quiet. The hotel is well located and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Within walking distance of Plaza de Armas downtown. The breakfast was good, but lacked in variety and condiments. We really liked the purified water dispenser in the room."

"The best part of the stay was the cheerful, friendly attitude of Catalina who makes you feel right at home. I had a long traveling night and day so the early check-in I was allowed was so needed. The neighborhood is quite a bit tougher than the last time, 38 years ago, that I was in the area. However, it really is vibrant and I predict this whole area will undergo a Renaissance."
