Mark behind the bar is great so helpful and always willing to help. Beer is great, food is amazing and the rooms are fab so clean and welcoming. Loads of parking and overlooking a fishing lake. Will definitely be back soon."

"We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again. Staff were all amazing. Couldn’t do enough to help. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond! Food was 10 out of 10… free parking always a bonus. Bed was comfortable. Although noisy with traffic we found it didn’t deter from a good nights sleep."

"Lovely rooms, nice and warm with all the essentials. Car ev chargers on site. Not fast charge but as staying overnight not an issue. Food was scrumptious. Steak and ale pie was stuffed with meat, plenty of mash and gravy. Chicken burger was mouth wateringly delicious. Good selection at breakfast but I stuck with toast and marmalade. Overall a very pleasant stay and great for the park and ride into town or the racecourse."
