"We got stuck in Reno for an extra day due to Highway 80 being closed. We shifted over from the Nugget (Stay & Play requirement, IYKYK) to Grand Sierra resort. Grand Sierra is clean and modern, and overall a great time! From the stores in the basement to the restaurants to the showing alley, it is a one stop entertainment shop!!! This is our second time to GSR- it’s our favorite place to stay in Reno! Highly recommend! "

"Considering this is a large casino hotel, the rooms were updated, clean and super quiet. Self parking garage is across the street from the hotel and casino so make sure to enter and use the bag drop off (we didn’t see it until after the fact)."
