Hotels in Dauis

"There are two hotels on the property, the Hennan Alona and Hennan Tawala. We stayed at the Tawala, but beach access is through the Alona's beach club. We were told we couldn’t use their pool or most beach facilities. With our flight delayed by more than 3 hours, the hotel told us that upon checkout, we could walk around the property, but not go in the pool or beach. It’s nearly 90 degrees out so we walk around in the hot sun, or sit in the lobby. And they made sure to disconnect the WiFi the moment they processed the checkout and the hotel doesn’t offer free WiFi in the common areas. BTW, the coffee is terrible and the buffet breakfast is mostly bland food that isn’t even really warm, even though they’re under heat lamps to in chafing pans. Potato wedges and omelettes were basically room temp. None are made to order. You’re better off going off property for breakfast, even though they included it in the room price. The staff is always super friendly and polite, they get a 5 star rating. The hotel itself, maybe a 3. "

"It was a great stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing was the ants in the room and the slow toilet flush. But overall a great stay with our baby. The buffet breakfast was amazing and the staff was again very friendly. The view of the beach was great and a lot of food nearby and massages! Will visit again."

"While the property was absolutely beautiful, the customer service and and hospitality were lacking. I find it confusing to see so many raving reviews, yet our experience was so different. It felt like all the attention went to building a beautiful 5 star resort, but there was no staff training to create the experience you’d expect at a place this nice. We sat at the pool for about 20mins and were handed our menus (There was only 2 other people at the pool this entire time). After about 40+ mins we realized no one was coming back to take our order. We had to walk to 3 separate restos/bar because no one seemed"
