This cottage is amazing with gorgeous views of vineyards, and a pond with ducks! The restaurant food was delicious, and the Explorer red wine was fantastic! Then, driving to Queenstown, we stopped at the Bungy Jump spot to take photos, and walked on the bridge to talk to the jumpers!

I was very impressed with Highview Apartments. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they gave us a tour of our room, the gym, laundry facilities, and helped us schedule a cab to the airport for our last day - and the rooms were just what we needed, perfect amount of space. (the bathroom floors were even heated!) The wifi worked great. The apartments had beautiful views of the lake and the mountains, and were a mere 10-15 minute walk from Queenstown. I highly recommend them.
We stayed at the Queenstown Boutique Hotel while visiting New Zealand on our Honeymoon in November. The hotel is very centrally located which was important to us as we didn't have a car while in Queenstown. The staff are so friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and other things to do in the area. The free happy hour is nice added bonus at the end of each day.

I don't need to say much about this amazing hotel. The location is incredibly convenient to downtown Queenstown. You can walk to all of the restaurants and nightlife. All of the staff are attentive and helpful. The room we stayed in had a top-notch bed and luxurious sheets. The floors in the bathroom are heated, as is the towel rack. There was a TV in the bathroom for the tub area. It isn't the cheapest hotel in town, but for the price it is worth it and then some.
This hotel was our favorite of the 10 or so we had on the trip. The staff members were very friendly, room conditions were very clean (they even did our dishes for us!) and the reception had DVD's we could borrow.
We were updated to a king room (from queen) without even asking, since few people were staying there.
