My dad and I went to sky's villa for an event and we were wonderfully surprised by the beauty and amenities of the property. The design of the common areas was lively and the rooms' decor were lovely. We were also pleasantly surprised when the "continental" breakfast turned out to be a full jamaican breakfast. Big up Sky's!! I would definitely book again if I'm going to be in the area.
The Blue Window restaurant menu need more selection of food especially Jamaican crusine. Checkin needs to be improve. Too demanding especially when I paid for 2 person in room. The Front Desk was insisting on other person name even when the petson eventually did not make it to the hotel. After a handful of stays here, this definitely feels like a home away from home. Staying at Jay's Guest House deep in the Blue Mountains was a great experience. It's an opportunity to get away from the typical tourist areas of Jamaica and have an authentic Jamaican experience. Jay has a wonderful family and they make you feel right at home. I would recommend the Blue Mountain peak sunrise hike and buying some of the best coffee I've ever had.
