"It was certainly a beautiful hotel. It needs to be renovated. I was told that this winter they are closing down for a massive renovation project adding a lift and bringing the hotel up to par. The staff were excellent. The pool was divine, as was the general out door area and the bar was elegant but fun. Looking forwards to trying the renovated version. If travelling to see lake Como, it is a fair distance and generally a car is needed."

"This is a great and very convenient hotel. We specifically booked this near the airport instead of in the city center because it was August and we wanted the option of having a pool. It’s a lovely property close enough to the city center by car. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This was the last stop before going home so being close to the airport only a few minutes away was very helpful. I did a lot of research for choosing this location. It did not disappoint."

"Nice hotel, booked a suite for 1 night on the way to locarno, very nice room & wish i had booked for longer to take in varese more but i know now for next time. Very good breakfast & we made use of the nice swimming pool before leaving, my great granddaughter loved it & said the room was VIP with 2 balconies & 2 bedrooms so that made us laugh. Would stay again & an easy drive from malpensa."

"Fair price for a front lake hotel. Had the room with balcony and lake view and it was spacious enough for two. Wish the savory options for breakfast were more numerous but I enjoyed the pastries and sweets spread. Very good expresso/cappuccino machine in the breakfast room, probably the best I ever saw in any hotel!"
