Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool! Convenience is key! I have a cruise at Piraeus. Booked this for two reasons - straight shot taking the M3 from Athens airport on the Metro train, and walking distance (5 minutes) from the Metro.

Very close to the ferry port and metro station. The hotel looks and feels new. Great breakfast. Only minor issue would be the single slow elevator. But not that bad either
Pleasantly surprised. Nikolas was excellent. Check in and check out was easy. They let us store our luggage until the afternoon since our flight was at night. They even called a taxi for us. Area could be a little noisy at night. Would consider staying here again.
Great location, nice big space, modern furnishings. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response to messages but the woman who was on site at times was super helpful when we ran into her. Our balcony door didn’t work properly so we were unable to sit at the cute table and chairs outside. But overall a great spot and would definitely recommend it.

This is a beautiful hotel, in an excellent location for exploring on foot. Our room was very nice, with large windows, and a balcony. The staff was wonderful with restaurant recommendations and directions. The lobby/ breakfast area is beautiful and the included breakfast is a nice way to start the day. They also left us a to go bag when our flight left before the scheduled breakfast. One thing to mention is that cabs and Ubers cannot go down the street the hotel is on. It is a short 1/2...
