The best thing about this hotel is really the proximity to the airport. It is a lovely hotel- rooms are great, not much noise and decent size. But it is amazing that you can just walk across the street to the airport without worrying about any transportation or delays.

A very comfortable and enjoyable short stay at The Village Hotel - and very handy for the Ovo Hydro where we saw 'Two Doors Down'. Bus stops were nearby - both Hop On/Off type and ordinary ones - so was easy to get around Glasgow. Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.
