we stayed at this hotel for one night, before flying back home. The hotel was farther from the airport than we anticipated (driving on small, rural roads) but it turned out to be a great place. When I booked this three star hotel, I was expecting a three star hotel. Turned out to be much better than many four stars or even some five stars where previously stayed. The criteria for stars appears to be the additional facilities the hotel has, swimming pool, spa, etc. This hotel has what really matters, comfortable rooms, quiet, well located, convenient self-parking.

What a gem of a hotel, right in the heart of Basel! I loved everything about the Nomad, from the free sparkling water to the extremely helpful staff and the fabulous restaurant. The room was modern, comfortable and had excellent Wi-Fi. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a rain forest shower head as well as a handheld shower head - heavenly! I've stayed at the Nomad twice and would definitely stay again.
