It is a peaceful, traditional french hotel with small courtyard area..inside a cool hideaway hotel right in the middle of Old Nice...you step outside and you are next to a square with a fountain where you can eat, drink or browse along the little lanes..

I can't say enough good things about our stay at La Perouse. We had never been to Nice before, and this location was perfect to walk to the beach, Promenade, bike tour meeting spot, ferry to St. Tropez meeting spot, short ride to airport. The room was clean and we had a gorgeous sea view that we had our coffee delivered in the morning to enjoy. There is a nice complimentary breakfast. We liked everything about the hotel except the pettiness of having to purchase our coffee cartridges for the Nespresso machine in our room! After the first night, we were told that we had to pay for them! For the price of the room they really should be free! What hotel does that?
Our stay was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure that we had a great experience. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and the rooftop pool has a beautiful view with great bar service.
The hotel has been entirely renovated, great location, excellent breakfast buffet. The ladies working the omelet bar were awesome, very attentive and efficient. Eric at the front desk was so helpful with our travel plans, the only downside was the air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open all night.
A truly fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Traveling as a solo female I felt safe and loved the beautiful decorations in the room, which was also quite large! From the moment we arrived, Pierre welcomed us like old friends. He made us a cup of coffee and held our bags until our room became available. We toured a bit and upon return our bags were in our room. The room was well styled, comfortable, dark and quiet. His daughter gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and transportation. It is a gem of a hotel.
