A nice, small hotel literally a few steps from the Park entrance. A great location for the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great. Good starting point for our Costa Rica trip. If you're a posh traveler, then perhaps this won't be your spot, but if you're a regular person, don't hesitate to stay here.

We stayed in the two-bedroom villa. It was a little difficult getting to at first but it worked out. We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were great and the restaurant/bar was a good option for convenience, if nothing else. The road up is a bit challenging by U.S. standards but we had a 4X4 SUV. I honestly do not know how anybody drives a sedan. With all the potholes and dirt roads, you would tear up your car. We would stay again at this property.

The very best thing about this hotel is its location, a short walk from the national park and the beach. Our room's balcony provided a great spot to watch wildlife and listen to the nighttime symphony of forest sounds. Absolutely amazing!
