"First the good stuff. Parking was easy and right outside my room- good during the rainy season. The desk clerks were nice and pleasant. The bed was clean and the room itself was clean. I used the fridge, kettle and the hair dryer, and these were fine. The not so good stuff: the carpet was torn, the shower plumbing leaked and sprayed from a connection point down low, the locks on the door were non-functional (door chain with both parts screwed into the door frame instead of one part on the actual...

"This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The photos do not match the rooms. The room was filthy and the bathroom had mould everywhere. There were stains all over the couch and water stains all over the bench tops. The fan in the bathroom was noisy and there was not new toilet paper provided. The toilet brush was filthy. The walls had marks all over them and the carpet was ripped up on the edges. Without doubt, a horrible experience."

"I have stayed here many times as it is a reasonably priced hotel in a great location at Eastland. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We ate at the Partakes restaurant both nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Quality food and well presented."

"Pleasantly surprised at the comfort and size of our room. The rooms have been renovated beautifully. The motel itself has been an amazingly grand hotel in its day and possibly needs further renovation. On site parking available. We will stay there again."

"It was ok, the room was missing some basics such as a tea towel, a cloth to wash dishes, any detergent for the dishwasher. It was a spacious room. I didnt like the shower bath set up. The glass partion felt very fragile and I found the bath (standing for a shower) a little slippery. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable. Great if you love super soft but it was so soft (or worn down) that you sank to the bed base. Also it wasnt super quiet, you could definitely hear the people speaking...
