"The room (Studio Executive) I stayed in was outstanding, with a balcony & fantastic views of the city & also up & down Glenferrie road. It’s within walking distance of a multitude of shops, cafes & restaurants. The entire property was immaculately clean. The room was well soundproofed, with every amenity you could need for an overnight or weekly stay. I have stayed in many properties in & around Melbourne over the last 10 years & for the price, amenities & area…Mainstay Suites Hawthorn is one...

"Had a great stay, flying in from Queensland. Room was great and queen bed was very comfortable. Had a 6am buffet breakfast and it was fantastic....perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages delicious and great fuel for a big day ahead in Bendigo attending a funeral. Thank you to all the great staff"

"The rooms are very good, the nar and food are great and axess to the airport is close, coming from away to fly out of Melbourne the Taylors lakes is my go to for a good feed and good nights sleep."

"Property is old but clean and tidy. Staff are excellent. Blockout curtains do not block out the streetlights which wasn’t great when we checked in at 2.30AM. Otherwise with the short walk."

"My favourite hotel in Melbourne - top end of Bourke Street, which is a great area for restaurants, bars, green spaces etc. The hotel staff are wonderful - they always make me feel very welcome; their service is impeccable. The rooms are excellent - I usually book the premium king - just a note to ask for the larger ones - there are two different sizes. The slightly smaller one is still great, but I like to be able to walk around my space. I haven't tried the restaurant - Dollys."
