We are a family of 4 and stayed at Villa Gadea for 11 days. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pools and the view from the room was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel.
Essentially there were zero amenities but that seems to be primarily due to the historic nature of the building. Property was a spotless and quaintly beautiful, exceptional staff.

Great location, clean, nice common areas. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here even with a few issues and opportunities. The common areas are very nice. The rooms are tiny and very poorly designed. There’s no room for luggage and the room was so tight the door to the large terrace could not even be opened all the way to get outside making the huge uncovered terrace largely useless. The only place to hang towels was inside the shower. The fitness room was very unappealing. The smell was...
This hotel is a little off the beaten path and a bit rough around the edges. It was a very nice reprieve from the over stimulation of the beach front properties and surprisingly close to the "old town" and all of the truly fantastic restaurants. Fantastic staff and so quiet. The house cat, "Missy" was there to welcome us each time we returned during the day.
From check in to check out everything about this hotel was outstanding! The room was clean and had a great seafront view with balcony. A tremendous breakfast buffet. I have traveled the world and stayed in the top hotels, I would put Gran Hotel Sol y Mar n my top 5!
We stayed for two nights although the room was warm the air didn’t always keep the room cool . We were at the front of the hotel and traffic was loud. It was still a nice hotel convient to the restaurants and shopping. It is a very nice place.
All the staff - from people at the reception to the guy overseeing the breakfast - were so nice, welcoming, and went the extra mile to give us useful recommendations and arrange a taxi for our hike. It definitely added to the overall vibe and made our stay that much more special. The rooms were also quite large and very clean. I’d definitely recommend Hotel Rosa to a friend and will be sure to stay there again if I come back to Denia!
