"My family and I just spent four incredible nights at the Novotel Kata Avista Resort and Spa, and I cannot recommend it enough. We were traveling with our two children (ages 6 and 8), and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.
We stayed in Room 501 on the 5th floor, which had a beautiful view overlooking the beach. Our arrival was made special by May, who escorted us to our room and ensured we were completely comfortable from the moment we checked in. Since we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, the staff went above and beyond by decorating our room to mark the occasion—a thoughtful touch that made our stay so special.
For families, this resort is a gem. We made great use of both kids' areas; they were fantastic for keeping our children entertained and gave us parents some much-needed relaxation time. The breakfast spread was excellent throughout our stay, and we also had the opportunity to book a private Thai cooking class, which was a really enjoyable experience for the whole family.
The amenities made everything convenient. We loved the shuttle service to Kata Beach—they provided beach towels and flip-flops, so we didn't have to worry about packing extra gear. The outdoor showers by the pool were also a great feature for cleaning up after a beach day.
What truly set this stay apart was the service. The team was amazing with our kids and took great care of us. A huge thank you to May, Tina, Luna, and Apple for making our stay super comfortable.
