Very relaxed hotel on a beautiful, isolated beach, great for disconnecting. The waves at the beach were too rough to swim during our stay, but still beautiful to watch and relax. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, they organized taxis and tours to nearby towns and beaches. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

The property, the food, the drinks, the staff were all perfect! I would note that it's the perfect get away if you want a remote location. There is 1 restaurant down the hill (on the beach) and 1 pizza place (100 peso taxi drive or walk able about 15 min). There is no cell service so you are at the mercy of the wifi signal on the property. Also, be sure bring cash because the closest ATM is at the airport. **the property does accept CC but other places in area do not.

Immersed in the sandy jungle of Cuatunalco/Salchi, expect lush nature and comfort. Walking distance to some beautiful beaches. Comfortable beds a great plus and simple kitchen to cook meals. My only suggestion is to have some kitchen towels for guests. Otherwise an excellent and comfortable stay. Will return!

I don't regret it, the place is incredible. I thought long before booking because of the negative comments. I want to clarify something, yes you are right that it is very far from everything but if you are looking for peace and relaxation you will not regret it, it is the perfect place.Second, they say that you use a dirt road and that is also correct. Maybe it is a 10-minute road, but it is not a problem if you drive carefully, you will not have any problems getting there. The staff's attention...

LOVED IT! Great accommodations! Room was very comfortable, excellent views, quiet, peaceful. Breakfast was great, restaurant on site was very accommodating to our likes. Yvonne and her staff were great, made us feel like family. Beach was awesome, we had the place to ourselves… perfect for winding down… we are planning to return in a couple of months! You will not be disappointed… well worth it! Recommend 100%

Casa Obe was my last stop during 3 weeks of beach travel and it was the perfect ending! First the hosts JuanCarlos & Valentina welcome you like old friends! Very quiet, clean, and staff were great. It has a great view to the ocean ….. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Angel, Oaxaca. Love it!!!!!

Visited for the first time. Seems like a new property and -let me tell you- the views are absolutely stunning! The pictures DO NOT do it justice. The rooms are much, much nicer in person. Easy to get there and, lastly, dont forget to try the shrimp tacos, trust me

Super secluded and chill place, the most comfortable bed, friendly and efficient staff, a beautiful lending library and delicious food at reasonable prices.

Stunning hotel with beautiful pools and incredible views! Great breakfast and excellent (though limited) dinner options. Huge rooms - balcony has sweeping bay views, jacuzzi tub, day bed, and hammock - spent so much time out here. Some renovation going on but no noise and didn't detract from our stay at all. Perfect hotel for 2-3 night stay. Walking distance to beaches of Puerto Angel, and easy taxi ride to Zipolite, etc. from main road.

What a treat to stay here for two nights, and I wish it was more. With no air and coming from snow country, I was surprised how comfortable the netted bed with ceiling fan within the “tent” would be. Beautiful room, grounds, and just 20 yards from a beach tiki bar/outdoor restaurant. The best stop on my 26 day, 10 hotel trip!

Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was really a grouping (of 7 or so) bungalows. The one we stayed in was high on the cliff with a view of the ocean, shoreline, and rocks below. Absolutely unreal! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and there were few other guests. I have rented villas on vacation several times, and this is a very similar feeling without the cost or prep. I wouldn't recommend this place though if you have difficulty walking...
