"The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and nicely appointed, very comfortable. Many shops and restaurants are located at Rookwood Commons -- a very short walk, and Hyde Park Square is less than a mile away. Very easy access to downtown Cincinnati and other points of interest. Yet, the hotel grounds are quiet and adjacent to a nice walk/bike trail. "

"It was what was lacking from the listing that was the problem-- there were 20 sketchy steps from the sidewalk to the front door. Those were not mentioned. We're 81 and 78. Stairs in general are things we try to avoid, but these were covered with leaves, ivy encroaching on the lowest set and with ridiculously low hand rails. Since there's no off-street parking, using the scary stairs was mandatory. The house was fine, but getting in and out was not."
