"Hotel L'Orologio is a beautifully maintained hotel in a perfect location (about 5-10 minute walk from Rialto and about a 20 minute walk from San Marco). The private water taxis will drop you off here for about 60-80 euros from San Lucia train station. The room came equipped with a sizeable amount of closet space, a very comfortable bed, and a luxury bathroom. Also, this hotel's front staff actually made me feel welcomed and helped with my questions/concerns (not common in other hotels in Italy...

"Only stayed one night but loved it! Very clean, newly renovated. Great bathroom and the view is fabulous!! Location is quiet and great restaurants right on the doorstep. It's a little noisy with the ferry and water taxis going by but ear plugs help greatly and they actually provide them. I'd return again! You're also right beside the water bus pick up and you can keep an eye on the queue from the room. Make sure you get your ticket for the airport water bus beforehand and get in line at least...
