What a spectacular location, right on the lake with mountain views. Property was clean and well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. Was there on business but will plan a return trip on vacation!

We had a fantastic room on the third floor with a view of the beautiful lake. The staff were extremely pleasant especially checking in and out. The breakfast was very good and so fresh. Tea and coffee plentiful as with croissants and all other quality breakfast items. The beds are super comfortable and room spacious. Will definitely be coming again.

We spent a week here for our anniversary and the setting is hard to beat. The resort is spotless, the lake and mountain views are postcard-perfect, and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. If you want quiet, clean air, and scenery, this delivers. The tradeoff is isolation. Getting anywhere else in Switzerland means long drives on winding mountain roads, and the access road is single-lane with scheduled up/down windows, so you can’t come and go on a whim. Hotel Felmis turned out to be a very good choice for my wife and me. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains from our room. We were driving, so we appreciated the very convenient parking. We took the bus from right in front of the hotel to downtown Lucerne, without having to hassle with parking in Lucerne. The area around the hotel is very nice.

Great staff and great location! The only problem I had was the toillet in my room had no door! So if you are not comfortable, make sure to ask from staff!

The location is beautiful — slightly above the town with great mountain views and an easy walk to the center. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the balcony view was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good variety of fresh options.

A beautiful, historic property with fabulous views over the lake to the Alps. Excellent staff and service. A very good meal in an elegant dining room with a view to the waterfall. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the Interlsken area.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! What a fantastic place to stay. We were only in Lucerne for one night, but it was such a great experience,we wish it could have been a longer stay. Cristian, the night clerk was so friendly and helpful in giving us input on where to eat late on a Sunday night and some of the local favorites to try. We ordered some plum brandy and loved it. Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. Now, I’m going to be honest. The rooms are not updated or fancy…more like a holiday inn….but the staff more than makes up for the simple/old rooms. Every single person was so nice, kind, and helpful. Georgia was especially helpful to us! We appreciated her advice! The outdoor deck was beautiful, and the restaurant was fantastic! Also, the location could not be better with amazing views.
