Beautiful hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. The interior design was fantastic. Great location. Very easy access to the train station. Breakfast had great choices and the breakfast hall was so nicely decorated. The staff unfortunately were unable to give suggestions or directions even to old town, the metro station or the port. I stayed there in April, 2015 for 4 nights 1 - it is perfectly located, 5 minutes walking to reach the lake and 5 minutes walking at the opposite direction to find the main train station. 2 - Friendly staff, as soon as I checked in, they gave me maps for the city and showed me where are the main attractions located and how to reach. Definitely opt for a lake view room, it will not disappoint. We stayed for three nights in early September and would 100% recommend. Fantastic balcony, great bathroom and very quite and dark. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train, up/down hill, which was fine by us but worth taking into account. I'd recommend checking out domain bovy for a great wine tasting. There are only a few restaurants in Chexbres and they hold basic hours, but that's some of the charm of this small town.
