We want to visit Tamina Gorge, this hotel right at the entrance of the Gorge. It was well maintained, clean, good size room. Friendly staff, we liked there. But there was one thing surprised us, we got there earlier like around noon, we wanted to drop off the luggages so we can visit the gorge, but the hotel was closed, it open only for certain hours for check in and check out. Luckily there was one hotel staff there and he showed up and let us drop the luggage. Other than that, everything is...
Wonderful Stay at Hotel Heidi in Switzerland
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Heidi! The location was beautiful, and the surrounding Swiss scenery was breathtaking, near the Heidiland village, we had a great time, highly recommended for those who want to visit the area!
Too far to go back and forth between Chur and the resort, but you won't want to leave Alpina anyway. Beautiful jaw-dropping hikes abound...

The hotel is brand new and conveniently located close to the highway. We had a high room away from the elevator as requested, with modern design and a nice view with huge windows.

If you plan to drive there, call in advance and clarify the situation for parking. There are only 10-15 spots which seem quite less than the amount of rooms available in the hotel.

Arrived after dark after a flight from the U.S. and train to Chur. Stayed one night as we took the Bernina Express the next morning. Hotel is modern and spacious enough and convenient to the train station (8-10 minute walk). Breakfast was very good and early enough to catch the BE which departs at 8:30 AM. There is a good Italian restaurant across a side street from the hotel. Wish we had planned to be in Chur longer as it looked to be an interesting place to explore.
Roomy, updated room/bathroom with balcony. Terrific fresh breakfast. Use of e-bike or city bike available. Lots of hiking accessible, 10 min walk to Therme, 15 min to train station. No car needed!

The Sports Center Hotel is located outside of the town of Zizers near a sort of industrial area. The hallways and rooms reminded us of a dormitory, which is fine for families of more than two people or groups of friends en route to more pleasant environs. The restaurant was a real find, however, and served the best risotto I've ever tasted.
