"Great hotel in a fabulous location right in the heart of old town Innsbruck. Close to the station and only 15 mins in a cab to the airport . Lovely cocktail bar and truly amazing breakfast !! The front desk , bar tender and the breakfast staff were all really friendly and helpful . Would definitely stay there again . "

"The location was perfect, couldn’t have been more central with view of the golden roof. In the evening there was the noise of the cafes below but it didnt bother us. Had it been warmer then the lack of aircon might have been an issue but there were fans in the room. We enjoyed our stay albeit only for one night."

"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"

"I love this place and I've stayed here twice already and can't wait for the next time! The hotel's decoration is old style Austrian rustic feel, that makes you feel like Julie Andrews is gonna pop at any moment and sing. The mountain view is breathtaking, the location is walking distance from the village of Igls, and there is a hiking trail in the forest right behind it. The staff is enthusiastic and helpful and the accommodation comfortable and restful. I can't recommend this place enough!"
