"The room was great, the location is a bit far out from luxor town but is 100% worth it bcs you could enjoy the views of the hot air balloons overhead during breakfast. Mohra helped us well with even setting up shuttle service to the station and a hit air balloon ride in the morning (separate charge). Overall great stay, would recommend."

The staff are welcoming and very helpful, offering sunset Felucca rides, and transportation if needed. The meals here are amazing. The best breakfast I have had anywhere in my travels by far. "We loved the garden and had nice food in the evening in hotel restaurant. Pool was also handy. Hotel is in a local and less busy area. Staff at breakfast was friendly albeit with limited English. Management should provide enough juice for guests as now there was 1dl of it even at the start of day. I would suggest hotel management to make sure breakfast is ready by 7am as guests have appointments to go to sights. We stayed in similar priced hotels elsewhere in Egypt and water was always offered...

"My stay at the Nile Compound Hotel was amazing! The hotel is a garden oasis surrounded by the beautiful farmland of Luxor. I could not have picked a better place to stay. Mr Yousef and the rest of the staff were spectacular! Mr Yousef arranged my transportation to several sites and always made sure I was enjoying myself. The food, especially the breakfast, were always delicious and they even gave me a breakfast before my early morning flight back to Cairo. I am so glad I chose to stay at...

"Our "room" was a roomy two bedroom apartment, much better than a standard hotel room. The hotel is family owned and managed, somebody is always available if you need. There is a restaurant/breakfast area on the last floor with a spectacular view of the Nile. Tours can be booked through them with competitive prices."

"This is a convenient hotel with a short walk to the river ferries and easy pick up for visiting West bank sites. Lots of food options nearby and a beautiful roof top with 360 views of downtown Luxor and the nearby mountains. Highly recommend for fair price. "

"Quality place to stay. Breakfast was great and we ate once in the Italian restaurant which was also very nice. For breakfast aim to get a spot on the balcony and enjoy some views of the Nile. The hotel partners with Nasco for their tours (i.e. Valley of the Kings) and they were really helpful. A little more expensive than some other operators but always felt like we were in solid hands, which wasn't the case when reading some reviews of other operators."

"This hotel is for sure a jewel, an oasis hidden in a quiet, farming area overlooking the Nile. The staff and manager is super friendly and the service excellent! "We had a wonderful stay at the Al Baeirat Hotel! It's situated in a peaceful area on the west bank of the Nile, where we able to take the hotel's boat right across the river to downtown. Our main man at the hotel, Saad, was able to help us organize all of our guides and drivers while in Luxor, which made all the difference. The entire staff were both helpful and attentive. We would love to stay here again next time we visit!"
