Learn more about Naxos
Lose yourself in the ancient ruins and whitewashed villages of this Aegean paradise. The Temple of Apollo and its iconic Portara gateway stand sentinel over a harbor where fishing boats bob alongside yachts. Dive into crystal-clear waters at Plaka Beach or catch wind-whipped waves while windsurfing at Mikri Vigla. After exploring the Naxos Archaeological Museum and medieval Kastro fortress, settle into a harborfront taverna where octopus dries in the sun before becoming dinner. Mountain villages offer a glimpse into traditional life, with elderly women in black watching the world from doorway perches. For island-hopping adventures, ferries connect to the Lesser Cyclades islands of Donousa, Irakleia, and Koufonisia – each offering their own untouched beaches.

Liana Beach Hotel & Spa
"Very clean and wonderful service. Prime spot. Andy was very nice!"
Naxos Magic Village Hotel
"Amazing service and amazing hotel . Outstanding views of Naxos Chora . Little outside downtown but perfect quiet hotel to rest . Beautiful pool and food is great . The 2 boys Vassillis and Orestis are outstanding and gave us an awesome service . Highly recommend this place ! We will be back !"
Kavuras Village Hotel & Suites
"This was a wonderful place to relax and restore. Breakfast was amazing and staff were exceptionally helpful. Beach is maybe a 15 min walk away but there is a shuttle bus hourly. Pools were clean and nice. Hot tub was not "hot" at all but it was fine."
Ippokampos Beachfront
"Really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were as advertised and the staff were very friendly. The real selling point was its access to the beach. Directly across the road from a gorgeous beach, with the hotel offering 50% off beach lounges for guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again."
Grotta Hotel
"Rooms are in excellent condition and extremely well maintained during our stay. All the staff we met during our stay were super friendly and nice."
Astir of Naxos
"While the beds are not particularly comfortable (I found them too soft) the rooms that have been renovated were nice. Be sure to ask for a room having the pool. The pool and pool area was very nice but it didn’t open until 11 am. The breakfast was good with a decent variety of food. 3 minute walk to the beach. Most staff were helpful and pleasant."
Aeolis Boutique Hotel
"My wife and I stayed for three nights. Hotel was in great condition, staff was extremely helpful with all requests. They have a private parking lot that was convenient. We used the pool and complimentary breakfast. Location is amazing too - just 5-10 mins walk from major beach and 5 mins from old market with all the bars and restaurants."
Finikas Hotel
"We had a room with our own private pool and it was marvellous. It was modern and spacious and immaculate. Joy, the housekeeper, was an absolute delight and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast had a good selection and everything was fresh and beautifully made. I would definitely book a return visit."
Nissaki Beach Hotel
"The staff, reception, servers were absolutely wonderful! Fresh towels and water daily. Hotel location is close enough to Naxos town to walk, catch the bus, go shopping and take advantage of additional restaurants etc. There are some beach tavernas right next door if you prefer to not eat dinner onsite, pending how adventurous you want to be. Breakfast was fantastic! You preorder the day before and notate the time you wish to be served. Self service coffee, tea and specialty coffee: flat white, latte, macchiato, just to name a few. Everyday was delicious! We didn’t use the pool or hot tub as we prefer the beach so took the bus to Plaka one day and Ag. Prokopios another day. My only complaint, and maybe somewhat petty, but there are only 2 hooks in the bathroom to hang stuff. It’s somewhat humid, so keeping things in the bathroom didn’t work very well with bath towels, beach towels and bathing suits. We wound up hanging things over the tv monitor and door handles. Definitely not ideal and we were only 2 people. Otherwise, our stay was marvelous and we highly recommend the Nissaki Beach Hotel."
