The Cascade Locks Historical Museum chronicles the original locks that gave this place its name before Bonneville Dam changed the river forever. For a perfect day, cycle the Historic Columbia River Highway, then watch sunset paint Mount Hood pink while sampling fresh-caught salmon at a waterfront table.
An oasis of excellence!
Honestly, I didn't think it was possible for a hotel to get 100% ten-out-of-ten reviews all written by humans. But then we stayed there, and Stevenson Hotel deserves every one of them. It's just exceptional in ways you don't see much any more, down to the last detail. Even the toilet paper is superior quality! The brass fixtures in the room, the home-cooked breakfast, the comfortable mattresses and soft cotton sheets, the elegant bar and lounge, it's all top-notch for a...
Had a great experience staying here. Facilities and room were very clean, staff was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and the view of the river is breathtaking. Looking forward to staying here again.
We were made to feel very welcome. Cookies on the table and coffee delivered when we arrived. wonderful room and breakfast was fantastic. We will go back to stay again. Friendly staff
Super friendly and detailed communications.
Excellent location that ’s easily walkable to everything around town and down on the waterfront. Super clean and thoughtful accommodations. We will be back!
We got a room overlooking the river and garden. The room was very nice and updated. It came with a refrigerator and microwave, which is always handy to have. Easy access to the room from the parking lot.
The view was beautiful.
You can ask for a non-pets room if you are severely allergic. We didn't know this, and we both have some allergies, but the room was clean and we didn't notice it at all (assuming pets had been in the room).
We got in late and check in was still fairly
Easy
We had a phone call a few days prior to ensure we understood the noone under 18 rule in bath house or pool . Which was fine as we had the room with hot tub anyway.
Our room was dated but they were in the process of refreshing rooms, new flooring and furniture was being unpacked as we departed.
We did have a fridge but no microwave .
But the tub was great. Perfect temp, and clean.
A perfect way to unwind on a cold misty night,after...
Fun old hotel right downtown and easy walking to to shopping and dinning. Since it’s old, there are a good number of outside noises (cars, people, ghosts, etc..) bring ear plugs.
Incredible! Friendly staff, amazing location, great amenities and fun activities. The food was excellent as well. The best glamping experience. Definitely coming back.
Located in downtown Camas. the town square is quiet and has a park like appeal to it. Camas is quite a quaint little town with boutiques and little shops within a four block distance of the hotel. Several very good restaurants, coffee and brew houses are located nearby.
