A date night to remember in a clean, quiet and close location for us. Recommend this place for adults looking for a mini-vacation for Longview & Kelso residents. Worth the money, close to our home but far enough away to feel like an out of town event.

The name says it all! Our stay was the best! There was nothing more to ask for; rooms with great beds, microwaves & refrigerators, coffee maker, free WiFi, desk in room, comfortable seating, TV & IOS charging outlets. Vending machines w/ snacks, drinks & free ice. Lobby had full free breakfast each morning between 6 & 9 am w/ waffles, eggs, sausage, jojo's, cereals, juices, tea, coffee, breakfast rolls, etc. complete w/ morning newspaper. Also an indoor swimming pool & a customer business...
This hotel is in an area away from restaurants/ shops that are within easy walking distance. The immediate area was safe but empty, ie the surrounding buildings were businesses that were not open in the evening/ weekends.
That being said the hotel has friendly staff, even if they were using walkie talkies in the hallways before 0800 (the reason for 4 out of 5 stars). The amenities were well cared for and clean. The addition of clam chowder available in the evenings was nice. It was pretty tasty....
The view is spectacular! Pet friendly and you can walk your dog straight from the hotel down to the river walk.

The motels location is good for places to eat and access around Kelso. No complaints on anything. Everything was as you would expect your stay to be, except for one thing,,,,,,,,,,our car was broken into and cleaned out while in the parking lot.

This downtown hotel has been renovated, but the old style of the property remains with hardwood floors in the lobby. There is a nice sitting area in front of the fireplace on one side and a wine bar/breakfast area on the other. We were in room 302, a corner room at the top of the stairs. Hotel Elliott's slogan is Wonderful Beds and they are 100% correct. Comfortable queen bed and room and remodeled bathroom was perfect. My husband and I came into town for a wedding and decided to stay here — and I am so grateful we did! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the hotel was even nicer than the photos. The room was perfectly clean and the staff were extremely kind. Our friends paid 2x to stay at other properties in the area (and we definitely ended up with the nicest place!). Highly recommend — we will absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.
It’s always a pleasure to stay at Hampton Inn and Suites Astoria. The Astoria Riverwalk is directly behind the hotel. Pier 39 is a short walk down the wooden pier. The Hotel’s Full breakfast is being served once again from 6-10 AM.
The property and our room was nice and clean. The hotel is right next to a Safeway so it made it easy to get anything we forgot to bring with us on our trip. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be staying there again anytime we pass through.
