Saddle up for a taste of West Texas at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, where frontier life comes alive. Admire the colorful blooms at the International Waterlily Collection, then cool off with a dip in Lake Nasworthy's refreshing waters.
The downtown area has a great mix of old and new with restaurants, shops, antique stores, and art murals in unique places. Old Fort Concho is also a great place to visit and the old railroad station. Enjoy!

San Angelo, Tx. is our second home. We love the history, the shopping, and the Lakes around San Angelo. It's a good place to fish and just enjoy the outdoors.

Downtown area is beautiful, as is the Rio Concho. Sorry the Railroad Museum is open only on Saturdays. We were there in the middle of the week and it would have been nice to have been able to explore it.

This was an annual trip to the San Angelo Youth Stock Show. We always stay here or one other hotel, whichever is available at the time.

San Angelo seems to be a quiet, older town. We were there for the Stock Show.

It seems like there's a lot of nice people in San Angelo. We took our little dog and they were very gracious about allowing her to stay there. She only weighs about 8 pounds anyway but they were very gracious and kind and we appreciated the hospitali

"This is a great family friendly place to stay. If you’re traveling with kids they’ll enjoy this stay. The property is a little outdated, my bathtub wouldn’t hold water for a bath and the tub was damaged. However, this didn’t bother my grandson at all. The atmosphere in the courtyard was festive and fun, everyone seemed to be enjoying all the activities provided. Overall, if I had children with me I would definitely return here."
"Overall a great stay but there was some loose under the bed, the sink was slow draining and the refrigerator would fall out of it’s slot when you pulled on the door, and the bathtub would creak very loud when you showered. "
"The ladies at the front desk were courteous at check-in and helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The property was well maintained with ample, well lit parking. "
"Staff was extremely nice and love loved the head of sales lady there she was super fun wish I would’ve remembered her name. Definitely will be back every year for our yearly cascade company meeting. "
"I've stayed here countless times. It's the best around for the best price. I'd recommend everyone stay here. They even put on a small breakfast in the morning. Sometimes the staff can be grumpy or judgey, but that's a small price to pay."
