I always enjoy staying in the Mount Pleasant area. The people are friendly it's not that hard to get around if you got GPS. I like the fact that we were not far from the Isle of palms Beach. And I'm always fascinated by going across the bridge.

Very unique area with beautiful old homes to walk by in the Pitt Street area as well. Loved everything about it and wish we had more time to explore. Loved walking the Shem Creek Park boardwalk overlooking the marsh and creek.

We went to the Boone Hall Plantation and thought it was very interesting and beautiful. We also stopped at the park/visitor center next to the large bridge coming into town and the views over the water were beautiful

Most areas are very "upscale", but it certainly has a lot to offer with many dining and lodging options. Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island just a short drive away. Also close to "The Bridge".

Mount pleasant is the place to stay, there's so many food options, shopping, parks, I always look for hotels here and it's close enough to do an easy drive to Charleston or Seabrook

A very nice area. Quiet, safe, convenient. Lots of small stores and eateries. Pizza Mia was delicious. Target is in walking distance. Isle of Palms is 10 minutes away. Nice little beach there.

Mr. Pleasant is a wonderful place to stay or visit. It is located within minutes from downtown Charleston with ease of access. I would just avoid the Quality Inn if you are thinking of staying overnight or for any length of time.

"This hotel is one of my favorites. It is the perfect spot to see all of downtown Charlestown. The food is amazing!! We had room service two nights and the food was top notch and the staff who brought our food were the nicest. We used the valet parking and the young kid that helped us was just the sweetest. We needed extra shampoo one night and within five minutes of calling we had shampoo. Love everything about this hotel and would never stay anywhere else."
