Learn more about Brunswick
Bowdoin College anchors this classic New England town with its Arctic Museum and art galleries tucked among leafy quads. Kayak through Casco Bay's island-dotted waters before returning to feast on lobster so fresh it practically introduces itself. The Harriet Beecher Stowe House commemorates where 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' was written, a literary landmark with revolutionary impact. Maine Street (yes, that's the correct spelling) offers independent shops and restaurants where talented chefs have created an unexpectedly sophisticated food scene. Thomas Point Beach provides perfect picnic spots, while the former Naval Air Station has transformed into Brunswick Landing. Visit the Maine State Music Theatre for summer performances that draw audiences from across the region.

Travelers Inn
"We had 2 rooms for 2 Nights in August 2026. A first-floor room and a second-floor room. Both were in very good condition. Beds were comfortable, no bugs, plumbing. AC and everything else in room worked well. Would stay there again."
Portland Harbor Hotel
"Perfect location, clean and friendly! Would definitely stay here again!"
Spark by Hilton Brunswick
"Was a great place to stay that was close to the airport. Offered everything we needed for our last day in Maine."
Portland Regency Hotel & Spa
"The rooms are feeling their age but otherwise nice enough. The doors fully seal they are open at the bottom like residential doors which lets all sound and smoke in from when other neighbors smoke despite it being a non-smoking hotel. The valet staff earns special props they were friendly and incredibly helpful. Overall it’s decent just don’t know if the amount we paid was worth what we spent."
The Brunswick Hotel
"Room and bathroom were awesome"
Fireside Inn & Suites Portland
"Our stay was good - nice amenities and staff was helpful. Property was a little dated and we weren't able to open the windows so air quality wasn't the best plus the beds weren't that comfortable and laundry detergent was really strong on the sheets. Overall everything was clean, hotel has a nice gift shop, and they provided a continental breakfast with lots of food options, coffee, etc."
