I was a bit worried about the check in process mainly because we were arriving after midnight but the instructions were clear and it was easy even in the dark and rain. Hilton Tallinn Park

"This hotel presents very well and is in a good location opposite a largish suburban park. The room was lovely and very well presented. Everything was clean and in good working order. My only issues with this hotel is the exorbitant additional charges for extras. For example I ordered room service (continental) and I was charged €6 delivery fee for a €20 breakfast which I would say at best was average. No spoons were provided for cereal, fruit and yogurt and no tea spoon (perhaps I was expected to use the one in the room! Addis ally the only condiments I was provided for my toast was a pot of tomato ketchup, a pot of mayonnaise and a pot of honey (thank goodness). For €20 you would expect a reasonable breakfast from Hilton. The hotel does not provide password protected WIFI which I think is very poor especially when travelling. I was offered “premium” password protected WIFI for €12.50 per day. And finally I checked out on 1 October and I finally received my room deposit refund today 6 October. Apparently this was due to a technical hitch! Would I stay here again, probably not. The room was perfect but the Hilton service and extras were way off the pace compared to other hotels I have stayed at recently. Disappointing!"

"I recently spent two weeks at the Swissôtel Tallinn while attending a training program this September, and it was a fantastic experience. The Pros: * Location: It is incredibly convenient, situated just a 10-minute drive from the airport and about a 5-minute walk from the Medieval Old Town. * Views & Comfort: As the tallest building in the city, it offers commanding views across the Gulf of Finland and the Old Town. The rooms are exceptionally clean, modern, and spacious. * Amenities: The 11th-floor spa, well-equipped gym, and indoor pool are excellent for unwinding after a long day. The daily breakfast buffet is also a major highlight, featuring a huge, high-quality selection. The Cons: * The bathroom design features translucent glass walls, which allows shadows to be seen from the room and might lack privacy for some. * The breakfast service can get quite busy during peak hours, occasionally leading to a bit of a wait for specialty coffees. Overall, the prime location, premium amenities, and attentive staff made a lengthy stay exceptionally comfortable. I highly recommend it."

"This apartment’s location was amazing. You’re within walking distance of all the core tourist sites. It was clean and spacious, too. The bed was fine. It had just about everything we needed except, surprisingly, bowls in the kitchen. We made do with cups. Downsides: it’s not the apartment for anyone who is mobility-challenged. It’s in a basement with stairs that could use a little work. The shower is also typically old European, ie it’s in the middle of the bathroom with just a low shower curtain to pull around it. The drain needs to be unclogged, because the water immediately begins pooling up."
