"I was glad we had a mandarin speaker with us to call the proprietor when we arrived as we didnt know what to do when everything was locked up. But once we called and he arrived, it was an awesome place to stay. Loved the location in historic Tainan (only street parking a couple blocks away available) and all four of us found it very roomy with a nice shared sitting area/kitchen outside our private room. And free snacks upon arrival. I hope to stay there again some day!"

"Anping is my favorite area of Tainan and this hotel showed itself to be a delightful and quirky little boutique place in a great location. My room was comfortable, the temperature was good, the decor curious and the bed comfortable. It’s certainly not an international chain hotel, so you won’t get a 24 lobby or concierge service, it feels a lot more like a family-run guest house but personally I prefer that. Internet was acceptable at about 20/20 mbps in the room and faster in the lobby. "

"So there's no real reception to speak of. You need to use the Line app, tell them your info, rhey will message you when it's time to check in with codes to enter the building. No issue, just use Line and a translator if needed. The building itself and the room were fine. Not much place to hang clothes or store clothes, so you basically live out of your backpack/suitcase. There is a roof terrace for smoking and a city view, which was nice. No coffee or anything in the building, thankfully...
