We started out for the hotel from La Garita, and followed our GPS - at night time. It took 1-1/2 hours to get there over some of the most dangerous roads I had ever encountered. The hotel web site advised going by way of Zarcerio, but that did not work in our GPS. Several times I was very tempted to turn back. It was a wonderful experience. This place is unique....if you enjoy nature this is the place to stay. Their rainforest is awesome for birdwatching ,wildlife enjoyment and they have the longest hanging bridge in the country. Their food is very good and you can enjoy a free breakfast included with their very reasonable price!!!
Great place to spend a night before our flight home. The host met us at the door when we arrived and was up at 4:30am to see us off. My wife and I walked to several nice restaurants just 8 minutes away. Very close to the airport, very clean and great value! Had A/C and a refrigerator to keep some food cold. Safe, gated parking but definitely not a lot of room. We had a mid sized SUV which fit fine, but anything bigger would be a tight fit. Would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed here for an evening as a stop over before our flight but we really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and really helped us out when we couldn’t get an Uber due to a local event. The rooms were modern and clean and the pool area was peaceful.

We stayed here on the front and back end of our trip to The Springs and Peacelodge. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and close to downtown San Jose. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the free breakfast is great. We also ate dinner here and the food is very good. The only downside is that the rooms are small and it can be quite noisy, as there are many buses driving by all the time. I would suggest a room on the top floor and on the opposite side of the Main Street.
If you’re looking to feel what it’s like to live in Costa Rica then this place is for you! It’s a property that has been turned into 14 rooms and it sits at the top of a hill overlooking all of the San José valley and the view is breathtaking!! Super quiet and very relaxing place, Lino, the property manager was great and helped us with everything we needed. This place was everything we wanted on our trip and we will be definitely coming back!
