We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. Details and little touches make this hotel special. We received a bowl of fruit, a handwritten note of welcome, and binoculars to enjoy the spectacular views offered...

Oh my gosh this place is heaven. The room was perfect, good size, comfortable bed with a balcony overlooking an absolutely breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains! Our 5 night stay was absolutely amazing in every aspect! Really appreciated having the A/C, the large terrace with postcard views of the lake and a cute church. Had an amazing dinner at the hotel restaurant once and outstanding breakfast buffet every morning. The spa amenities are very nice as well! Would highly recommend as a perfect quiet retreat! Weggis is a hidden gem with easy access to many nearby sights and hiking trails.
