The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. "Hotel is beautiful and breakfast was superb. But my room (106) was above a karaoke room so I needed to listen karaoke screaming until 11:45pm. That was unacceptable. I called to receptionist and she understood my complaint but I don’t understand in such a high quality hotel noone has thought that people value good night sleep quite high. And that is not possible in room 106 if there is karaoke party down stares."
