If you're planning a bit of sightseeing during your trip, head to Tashichoedzong— just one of the landmarks located 1.3 mi (2.2 km) from central Thimphu.
After visiting Punakha Dzong, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Punakha. Stroll along the riverfront or visit the monuments while you're in the area.
You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Bhutan National Museum during your travels in Paro. Make time to visit the temples and monuments while you're in the area.
"The staff are very nice. And the location of the hotel is good since it's in the city center, convenient for business trips (in case you need to meet in the Thimphu area)."
"Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was noisy at the time of my stay due to other guests speaking loudly and opening and closing doors late at night and early morning. Before me needing to ask, the staff moved me to a quiet room. The breakfast was good. A decent coffee machine would have made the experience nicer.
The hotel represents excellent value for money. It is around 10 minutes or so from Paro and 20 mins to airport."
"Value for money is great, staff are helpful during stay and before for coordinating driver/guide. The setting in the forest is much nicer than staying in town. The only thing I felt was a let down were the pillow, too tall and hard so had to sleep without."
