Very comfortable room and large, clean shared space with laundry and kitchen. Very easy check in process and had no problem walking to all of the old town sites. It’s a 2 minute walk to the KGB house, most underrated part of my trip!
This hotel was excellent! The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was very polite and friendly and the buffet breakfast was great!! I would recommend this place!
We had an amazing stay in Gutenbergs Hotel, we loved the location and character of this hotel, their rooms are full of history, and the food and atmosphere of its restaurant in the rooftop was excellent. The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. Shopping, dining and historical monuments are all within walking distance. The entire city is accessible through an efficient public transit...
The Ibis is located across the street from Riga's central train station in a beautiful historic building, but the inside has been renovated with a contemporary playful look and it offers all the expected amenities from a chain hotel. The staff is attentive and everyone speaks English fluently, as well as Latvian and Russian.

Stayed for 9 days during Indian summer! The staff is very welcoming and accommodating . The receptionists Julia, Arthur, Michael and Natalia are multilingual . Breakfasts are standard, but well made. Had a couple of dinners there which were delicious. I had a small but well organized and clean room. All in all I had a great time !!!
The rooms were huge. The person who chooses the sleeper couch is spared the snoring in the bedroom given the door that closes on it. Breakfast was promptly ready at 7am. Egg soufle was light and fluffy. Large selection. Front end help was superlative.
