"Honestly, this is where we will stay for future NYC visits. Easy access to the subway to get anywhere in the city. Quiet neighborhood. Rooms were clean. You won't go wrong staying here as long as you're patient enough to ride the subway for a longer commute into the city!"

"Located 3 blocks away from subway to NYC is this new hotel with spotless rooms and comfy beds .Modern bathroom fixtures and I loved the vanity mirror❤️ They offer free breakfast buffet with good selections and parking fee has in& out privileges .Great location in 4th Avenue Brooklyn adjacent too a police station . The staff are welcoming and very helpful with inquiries , keep it up !"

The breakfast isn't great - but just as you'd expect at the budget end - but there's a superb deli and bagel place just slightly down the hill. Would recommend, very handy for the cruise terminal. "

"Room and hotel overall was extremely clean. I believe this hotel is fairly new so it missed a few small things. A dnd sign was not provided so they cleaned and knocked on our door everyday, they even left cleaning rags in the room one day. One elevator was broken, hallways are pretty loud so you hear everything. There is no restaurant on site unfortunately and the bar is not open late. Coffee bar is good though! "We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 42 - great location steps from the subway. The neighborhood was very clean and walkable. We enjoyed some neighborhood restaurants. I always felt safe and it was very clean everywhere in the nearby neighborhoods. Our rooms were also very clean and we enjoyed some cocktails in the evenings in the cellar bar. A lovely week in Williamsburg Brooklyn!"
