There is a nice restaurant with very good food and an excellent breakfast offering with lots of local produce, which really surprised me. Also, if you drive an EV there are two chargers activated by credit card so no hassle with QR codes etc. I warmly recommend Hotel Windorf if you are traveling through or want to visit Leipzig and surroundings."

"Super Hotel in optimaler Lage. Die Innenstadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Leckeres Frühstück und geräumige Tiefgarage. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Bei Ankunft waren auf dem Boden im Badezimmer Haare vom vorherigen Gast bei der Zimmerreinigung nicht entfernt worden. Das war aber der einzige Malus."

"Excellent stay, staff very helpful, I was allowed to book in 4 hours early and they also stored my luggage on departure, all at no cost. Rooms are quite basic, but if you are there to site see etc, it doesn't matter. Hotel is near the main station and very well sited for the city itself. I would recommend for a city stay."
